Hansen Auction Services





Hansen Auctions Service provides a variety of services including live, online, and simulcast (combination of live and online) auctions making them a full service auction company.


This includes set up, cataloging, load out, and shipping all tailored to you and your needs.


Our auction house is located in Hampton, a small town in Franklin County, Iowa.


Not only do we do auctions at our location in Hampton, but we do onsite auctions wherever our customers need in Northern Iowa and surrounding states.

Jordon Hansen



Owner/Auctioneer





Jordon Hansen has been in the auction business since 2006 working for other auction companies.

In 2019, Hansen attended World Wide College of Auctioneering wanting to expand his knowledge of the industry and his bid calling. He continued working for other companies and learned more and more about the business and online auction software.

With the boom in the online auction industry, he started Hansen Auction Service in August of 2020. Hansen Auction Service immediately began to grow doing multiple auctions monthly.

In February of 2022, Hansen was named the Iowa State Ringperson Champion at the Iowa Auctioneer Association competition. June of 2022, Hansen competed in the World Automobile Auctioneers Championship and was a finalist finishing 8th.

In February of 2023 Hansen was voted on the Board of Directors for the Iowa Auctioneers Association for a 1 year term. In January of 2024, he was again voted on the Board of Directors for the Iowa Auctioneers Association for a 2 year term.

Jordon also won a marketing award at the Iowa Auctioneers Association Convention and contest.

Tom Davis



Auction Setup and Shipping Coordinator



Davis comes to us with a bunch of knowledge of the auction industry from working for other auction companies as well. Davis is supposed to be retired from working a career in the plumbing industry, but thoroughly enjoys everything about auctions so he continues to work very passionately and doesn’t quit.



Mylan Card



Auction Setup/
Cataloging Coordinator



After working a career for the Iowa DOT and retiring, Card decided to take up other jobs to keep himself busy. At one of the early sales of Hansen Auction Service, Hansen asked Card to help and that was the start of a new adventure. Card has grown his knowledge in the auction industry and has been a huge asset with getting sales ready to be put online.



Leon Martin



Associate Auctioneer



Martin has been a huge asset in assisting with expanding the business through advice, knowledge, and helping out with any live auctions. Whether it be by bid calling or supplying equipment, he is always willing to help. Martin also owns an auction company in Waverly.



Mike Bucahanan



Loader Operator



Buchanan helps with auction pick up and running the loader when needed for larger items and equipment.



Dan Craighton



Auction Help



Craighton has been a huge asset and addition to the Hansen Auction Crew. He stepped up to help when our schedule got busy and comes with a great attitude and Excellent Work Ethic.



Tom and Lisa Hansen



Auction Help



Mr and Mrs Hansen (Jordon’s Parents) have been a huge help with auction pick ups and occasionally helping with auction setup and photographing. They are always willing to drive and help at any sale when needed.



Tinna Davis



Auction Help



Ms. Davis is Tom's daughter. She has stepped up by filling in when Card is not able to photograph and has also assisted in running the computer at check out.



Brandon Westendorf



Auction Help



Westendorf helps with photographing, setup, and pick-up when needed.
